Velò, in print

Seeing one of your own products on paper is a strange, good feeling. Velò got picked for the first issue of The Calendar, an independent print magazine, chosen by their jury alongside a handful of other designs.
During design week they took over La Bruma, by the Colonne di San Lorenzo, showed some of the work, sold the issue, and filled the place with conversation. I did not have a prototype ready yet, so Velò went out as images while I stood around talking about a lamp that was still mostly a folded idea. That was half the fun.
A proper learning experience, and a reminder that the best parts of this happen in a room, not on a screen. Big thanks to The Calendar and everyone who made it happen.
